IE 7 zoom shortcut bug

It is just me & my laptop, or does 'CTRL T' (to open a new tab in IE 7) periodically zoom all the way in on the current page, and then open a new tabbed window? I've been using IE 7 for a while and it seems this happens every once in a while. Try it, you'll hate it. btw, 'CTRL -' is the shortcut for zooming back out.

basically, when I hit control T, it somehow interprets that as 'CTRL +' (max zoom). annoying.
